Visa answers that tell you how old they are (September 2026)
Visa information online fails in a particular way. A page ranks well, it was written three years ago, nothing on it admits that, and the rule it describes changed last spring. You book flights on it and find out at the check-in desk.
Visa Dive exists to be the opposite of that.
How a guide here gets written
The rule comes from the source. The issuing country's own immigration authority or its embassy, not another blog repeating a third blog. Where the official wording is ambiguous, the guide says so rather than picking the tidier reading.
Every guide carries a date. Not the date it was published, the date it was last read against the source. A page that hides its age is asking you to trust it blindly, and on this subject that is not a reasonable thing to ask.
One journey per guide. Your nationality and your destination together decide the answer, and a single page trying to cover every combination ends up useful to nobody. Guides here are written for that pair.
Corrections get made. If a rule on this site is out of step with what an embassy or a border officer told you, send it to hi@imjulkar.com. Being corrected quickly matters more than being right the first time.
Who writes it
Visa Dive is written and maintained by Julkar Nain. He reads the sources, writes the guides and answers the corrections himself. That is deliberate. A site handing out immigration information should have a name attached to it and a person who can be held to what it says.
This page is running on your default page template. Replace this text, or give the page a template of its own and the layout is entirely yours.
Everything here is Liquid. Nothing is locked.
What this site is not
This is not legal advice, and nobody here is your immigration lawyer. It is not a visa agency and it will never charge you to submit an application you could submit yourself.
Entry rules can differ by airport, by purpose of travel, by how many blank pages your passport has and by when it was issued. Border officers have discretion that no website can predict. Use these guides to know what to prepare and what to expect, then confirm with the embassy or consulate before you book anything you cannot refund.
If that sounds like an unusual amount of hedging for a travel site, it is the honest position. The alternative is a confident answer that costs you a flight.
